Iranian authorities sentenced Swedish-Iranian academic, Ahmadreza Djalali, to death following a grossly unfair trial. Djalali remains enforced disappeared, and authorities are denying his family and lawyers information about his fate and whereabouts, raising fears that he is at grave risk of secret execution amid the ongoing execution crisis in Iran. Additionally, Ahmadreza Djalali has been denied access to adequate health care, even after suffering a heart attack in May 2025. This lack of medical attention further increases fears for his health and safety
