Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents arrested Anabell, an asylum seeker, following a routine check-in on February 25, 2026. A judge later ruled the arrest unlawful, and she was released on October 30. Shortly after her arrest, Anabell learned she was pregnant. Throughout her eight-month detention, she received no prenatal care and was forced to carry heavy objects, causing her significant pain and bleeding that required hospitalization. Although she is now free, ICE refuses to release her medical records, preventing Anabell from fully understanding the treatment she received and what happened to her.
ICE must immediately release Anabell’s records.
