Join the Brooklyn Amnesty Local Group on Wednesday, June 20 to celebrate World Refugee Day and actively show our support for refugees with a picnic in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park. 6:30pm. We will be joined by refugees, locals and people working with newly arrived refugees. This dinner will be a great opportunity to learn more about refugees’ stories and about resettlement programs in the city. Invite your friends and family to share this dinner. Also, you are welcome to bring a dish from your country to share!
