Join one of hundreds of community events across the country from 9/15-9/24 that welcome refugees! The president is considering drastically cutting refugee admission to historically low levels – potentially as low 20,000. We are no longer welcoming refugees in the same way. Under the Trump administration, our refugee admissions program is facing a threat to its very existence and we are in a downward spiral, admitting fewer refugees this year already.
We need to come together to publicly show that we welcome into our communities, homes, schools – our country. Show your elected leaders and your community that you welcome by joining Welcoming Week.
