Amnesty International Groups throughout California will join with International Rescue Committee California and author Jessica Goudeau for a discussion of the refugee experience on Monday June 21st. at 6:30 PM Pacific. How have America’s changing attitudes towards refugees had a profound effect on the lives of those displaced around the world? What can we do to provide a more welcoming community? Shine a Light on World Refugee Day and Refugee Awareness Month, learn more and help us to mobilize resources so those fleeing conflict or persecution can thrive in their new life.
