Please join American Indian Movement (AIM) members, prominent indigenous organizers and other advocates for an urgent rally calling on President Biden to grant clemency to Native American elder Leonard Peltier—this year!

What: Rally to Free Leonard Peltier with Speakers and Musical Guests!
When: Sunday, November 13 at 2pm
Where: Lincoln Memorial in Washington, DC
Learn More: https://www.facebook.com/LeonardPeltierWalkToJustice/

Leonard Peltier has been incarcerated for more than 46 years and has always maintained his innocence. Amnesty has been calling for Leonard’s release for decades due to the unfairness of his trial, including coerced and recanted testimony, withheld evidence, and racism. He is now 78 years old and in declining health. Time is running out for Leonard.

AIM members, including Leonard’s daughter Kathy Peltier, have spent the past few months walking at least 20 miles a day on the Leonard Peltier Walk to Justice – a spiritual walk from Minneapolis to Washington, DC. After walking over a thousand miles, they will walk into Washington, DC on November 13th. Please join in solidarity as we call on President Biden to grant Leonard Peltier clemency this year!

The rally is at 2pm at the Lincoln Memorial with an exciting line up of fantastic speakers and musical guests! If you want to make a day of it, you can come out early and meet up at the Washington Monument at 11am to walk the last mile with the walkers walking to the 2pm rally at the Lincoln Memorial.

Let’s do what we can to help Leonard get back home safely to family and loved ones, before it is too late!
