Over the past 35 years, Sri Lanka has experienced up to 100,000 enforced disappearances.  The relatives of the disappeared still don’t know the fate of their loved ones.  No one has been held accountable for these crimes.  Join DePaul University’s Amnesty group, AIUSA Group 113 and Acting Out Awareness for an evening of poetry readings, music and dance to learn more and take action for the disappeared.  Light refreshments will be served.  The event is free and open to the public.
