Our local chapter of AI meets the 3rd Wed. of each month in North Jersey. This month we will be meeting in the Hawthorne Library for a special strategic planning workshop led by NYC Area Coordinator Todd Schwarz. We will be strategizing on our adopted case of Berta Caceres, an indigenous and environmental rights activist from Honduras who was murdered last year. We are seeking justice for her murder and are concerned for her colleagues under threat. The strategies we work on at this meeting will be useful for all of our ongoing human rights work.
