As we observe the growing wave of incidents across the country involving guns and gun violence, we’ll be focusing this month’s call on AIUSA’s priority campaign to End Gun Violence and activism opportunities during and in the lead up to Wear Orange Weekend, June 4-6.
Join Ernest Coverson, Manager of AIUSA’s End Gun Violence Campaign and others to learn more about the human rights issues, special events, and how to take action to stop gun violence, including:
• Reintroducing and passing the Break the Cycle of Violence Act
• Approving Universal background check legislation
• Attending special events in the lead up to Wear Orange Weekend on June 1 and June 3
• Supporting the launch of our Heroes Campaign
• Supporting community-based violence prevention programs
