Longer Table Event with LexArts Gallery Hop

On November 16th from 5-8 p.m., Amnesty International USA’s Kentucky office will be partnering with the Sisohpromatem Art Foundation and LexArts to present a Longer Table interactive art piece at the Plantory. This thought-provoking, immersive experience is intended to stimulate the senses and generate conversation about how our communities can be welcoming to refugees. Equally important, you will have the chance to take action and join a global movement advocating for refugee and migrant rights. Intended to center the voices, lives, and experiences of refugees, this table will present cases of refugees highlighted by AIUSA, offer information on the global refugee crisis, and provide spaces for dialogue with directly-impacted individuals and refugee resettlement workers.
