Join Amnesty International at Wilmington College for our Longer Table event on Wednesday, November 14th from 7-8:30pm in Pyle Student Center, dining rooms C&D. We will have a speaker from a refugee resettlement agency, and Murtadha Al-Shaikhli, a refugee from Iraq who lives in Columbus, will share his story. Staff from Senator Brown and Portman’s office will also be joining us. The event will be casual, community-focused, and supportive. We believe that in the face of global instability, we must build a longer table, not a higher wall.
