Join us and become a part of a new Amnesty International (AI) Local Group forming in the Eastern Panhandle of WV! AI Local Groups are community volunteers who come together – usually monthly – to learn about human rights issues, organize to raise public awareness on these issues in their communities, and take direct action!
We are looking to build out the first Amnesty Local Group in West Virginia.
Come and learn about this global movement of individuals who work to promote and protect human rights at home and abroad! Since 1961, AI has been working to stop human rights violations and ensure that perpetrators are brought to justice!
This is a great way for you to become more active in Amnesty’s work and find out how you can make a difference locally and globally.
If you cannot attend at this time, but are interested in being a part of our new local group and attending future meetings, please contact us at: [email protected]
