Amnesty International USA, AIUSA’s Local Groups 113 and 1024, and the Downtown Islamic Center of Chicago invite you to take part in this community event to add our voices to the calls for peace and protection of the rights and lives of Palestinians during Ramadan and throughout the year!

This iftar will be an opportunity to come together as a community to learn more about how we can join the efforts to protect and promote human rights for Muslim communities around the world. Hear from speakers from Amnesty International USA and the Downtown Islamic Center about the crisis in Gaza, and how we can protect and promote the human rights of Muslim communities around the world.
There will also be information on Amnesty International’s work to end the persecution of Uyghur Muslims in China and women and girls in Afghanistan.
