Join NDN Collective & Amnesty International USA at the White House in Washington D.C. on Leonard Peltier’s 79th Birthday—Tuesday, September 12th, from 12-2 PM EST —to call for his release.
Leonard Peltier remains imprisoned despite serious and ongoing concerns about the fairness of his trial and legal process. He has always maintained his innocence. For nearly 50 years, Indigenous activists, organizers, and allies have spoken out for his freedom. Let our collective voice be heard by uniting to support the fight to free Leonard Peltier – see you in Washington D.C.!

NDN Collective is coordinating a 4-stop caravan pick-up for Leonard Peltier supporters in the following cities:
Rapid City (BUS IS FULL), Minneapolis (STILL ACCEPTING RSVPS), Chicago (STILL ACCEPTING RSVPS), Pittsburgh (STILL ACCEPTING RSVPS), and final stop in Washington D.C.
Caravan Stops: *Times and locations will be shared with folx who RSVP via the form*
– Thursday, September 7th – Ceremony at Jumping Bull Compound Oglala, SD @ 6 AM
– Friday, September 8th – Rapid City, SD to Minneapolis, MN to Chicago, IL (RAPID CITY BUS IS FULL)
– Saturday, September 9th – 10th – Chicago, IL to Pittsburgh, PA
– Monday, September 11th – Arrive in Washington D.C
– Tuesday, September 12th – Free Leonard Peltier: 79th Birthday Action from 12 – 2 PM EST at the White House (1600 Pennsylvania Ave, Lafayette Square side).
**After the action, the charter buses will leave D.C. to travel home back to each stop.
