In a time when immigration enforcement activity has heightened and immigrant rights are increasingly under attack, it is more important now than ever before to be educated on this topic and use your voice to support civil liberties.
One year after President Trump’s inauguration, join Cal ACLU and Amnesty International at Berkeley to raise awareness and promote advocacy for immigration and refugee policy reform. The ACLU and Amnesty International holds a firm stance in support of immigrant and refugee civil liberties and human rights. We believe that, through the use of targeted impact litigation, advocacy, and public outreach, we can protect the rights and liberties of immigrants in the United States.
The event will include a lineup of knowledgeable speakers and panelists, followed by a phone-banking and letter-writing campaign to contact representatives and express support for immigrant and refugee rights.
