The Ithaca Local Group #73 of Amnesty International is going to celebrate Banned Books Week with a gathering over Zoom on October 2.
Participants will be invited to read a short passage (5 minutes or so) from their favorite banned book, repressed author, threatened poet or endangered journalist, past or present. Suggestions are welcome!
