Join Amnesty International – Chicago activists on Oct. 2 for our 5K run/walk fundraiser along the lakefront. Our group needs to raise about $1,500 for our co-sponsorship of a refugee family coming to Chicago.
Suggested voluntary donation is $10 but any amount is welcome. We’d encourage all participants to help us by getting donations from your friends and families, either as a flat amount or on a per-kilometer basis. All donations should be sent to www.refugeeone.org/amnesty, either before Oct. 2 or afterwards. If you can’t afford to donate now, you’re still welcome to join us.
