Responding to the news that the Texas Supreme Court has ruled against a Texan woman seeking an abortion, Tarah Demant, National Director of Programs for Amnesty International USA, said:
“The only person who has any business deciding whether to have an abortion is the pregnant person. Period. It is a violation of human rights for the government to force anybody to carry a pregnancy.”
