On October 20th, 2020 Human Rights Watch, Physicians for Human Rights, Human Rights First, the Center for Civilians in Conflict and Amnesty International USA sent letters calling on city and state officials across the country to review their laws, policies and practices ahead of the general elections to ensure they protect the right to freedom of peaceful assembly.
