21 October 2017 – Albany, New York – Albany Law School, 1928 Building
It is our sincere pleasure to invite you to this year’s Northeast Regional Conference.
Join us on October 21, 2017, as we stand shoulder to shoulder in the great city of Albany to make a lasting human rights impact. The Northeast Regional Conference brings together hundreds of Amnesty members and other human rights activists from around the country. With our Grassroots Host Committee and Regional Office as co-hosts, together we will continue our tradition of engaging in networking opportunities, inspiring plenaries, and hands-on skill-building workshops, as well as shaping the policies of the organization.
As activists, we will be challenged to initiate change within our own communities. This will only happen with you – we need you there!
Don’t forget to like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter at @AMNESTYUSA.

The more people and support we secure for our Regional Conference, the more we will accomplish for the human rights movement, while ensuring an optimal experience for our attendees. Your participation in the conference is crucial to its success, so we all need to spread the word!
Here are a few ways you can help and show your support:
Submit a Resolution
The deadline to submit a Resolution has now passed.
Vote on Resolutions
In order to participate in the membership resolution process, you must be a dues-paying member of AIUSA. The good news is, it’s not too late to become a member! Sign up here, or join or renew onsite to enjoy full participation in the AIUSA resolution process at the Regional Conferences.
Recruit Others
The more people attend our Regional Conference, the more we will accomplish for the human rights movement and the better experience everyone will have, so we all need to spread the word! Challenge yourself or your group to sign up at least 1, 2, or 3 more people! In fact, a good percentage of our current members and activists first learned about Amnesty International at a Regional Conference! Let’s get to it!
