Group 9 & Group 280 are hosting a Write for Rights event at Greenwich House Music School, 46 Barrow, in the West Village, NYC.
Tuesday, NOVEMBER 9: Jim Seymour, who along with Bill Williams, founded Group 9 in the 60’s is our special guest on November 9. He will talk about Group 9’s origin and the early days of Amnesty in NYC.
Tuesday, DECEMBER 14: We will hold another Write for Right event on December 14, same time, same location.
Write for Rights letters, envelopes and case sheets will be supplied. Pens too!
Please remember to bring your own return labels so that you can affix these to the letters and to the envelopes. This lets the recipient know you are a real person and strengthens the impact of the letter.
**All are welcome and we invite you to bring a friend, especially someone from the West Village new to Amnesty’s work.**
