President Trump has signed another executive order banning people from several Muslim-majority countries, suspending the refugee program, and slashing the number of refugees who can be admitted when the program restarts.
This is a revised version of the Muslim ban the White House issued last month, which it pulled back after the courts and the public rejected it. Make no mistake: This new version is just another attempt at a Muslim ban. It has the same intent: Banning people based on who they are, not what they’ve done.
Congress has the power to stop it. We need every Senator to act quickly to ensure it’s stopped fast, before more lives are torn apart.
