Antonio Rodiles, the national coordinator of a civil society initiative calling on the government to ratify international human rights treaties, was released on the afternoon of 26 November having spent 19 days in detention.
Six men were accused of "highway robbery" and were transferred to Malaz prison. All of them say they were beaten and forced to confess to the charges against them.
Sayed Yousif Almuhafdah was released on 16 November. He had been arrested on 2 November for reportedly monitoring a gathering taking place and the police behavior towards protesters.
