Moses Akatugba was imprisoned at 16 years old, tortured, and sentenced to death. Ten years and over 800,000 actions later, he walked out of prison on June 2, 2015.

More than 600 people forcibly evicted from their homes in Sabbangali, N’Djamena, the capital of Chad, have been offered compensation and allocated plots of land to rebuild their houses in another area of N’Djamena.

"The planned forced evictions in the Arco Iris neighborhood of Lubango, Angola, which were scheduled for 25 August, did not take place. Residents believe the work of Amnesty International and the local NGO Association Building Communities (Associação Construindo Comunidades - ACC) contributed to stopping the forced eviction.
