Human rights belong to everybody. Everyone is entitled to these rights, without discrimination, no matter where they were born, how much money they have, or their gender. No one can take these rights and freedoms away from us.

Human rights are defined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), a document of 30 articles that acts like a road map for freedom and equality. Article one? We are all born free and equal. We should all be treated the same way.

Test your knowledge of YOUR human rights! If you need a refresher, read the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR).
