(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – In response to U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry arriving in Pakistan for meetings to ease tensions over U.S. drone strikes, Amnesty International USA (AIUSA) released the following statement from Naureen Shah, advocacy advisory for AIUSA:
“Any move forward has got to include accountability. The U.S. government should commit to fully investigating the serious allegations of unlawful deaths from U.S. drone strikes, and making public information about who has been killed and on what basis.”
