Amnesty International has learned that Rehab Abdel Bagi Mohamed Ali, aged 30, was released from prison in Sudan on 24 September. Appeals sent by Amnesty International members are said to have been instrumental in securing her release.

Urgent Action 11/14 - Sudanese Student at Risk of Torture
Tajeldin Ahmed Arja has been detained incommunicado since 24 December 2013. He was arrested by the presidential security guards after openly criticizing both the Chadian and Sudanese presidents. He is at serious risk of torture and other ill-treatment.
