Amnesty International has learned that Rehab Abdel Bagi Mohamed Ali, aged 30, was released from prison in Sudan on 24 September. Appeals sent by Amnesty International members are said to have been instrumental in securing her release.

Eleven men have been arrested and detained without charge in Khartoum in a sweep by the National Security Services (NISS) between 12 and 20 March.
