What is an AIKids' Urgent Action?
The AIKids' Urgent Action (AIKids' UA) is a simply written, large print Urgent Action casesheet designed for students in grade levels 4 to 9. The case is written in language that is easier to understand than the adult UA.
The AIKids' UA is issued once a month and usually focuses on human rights abuses suffered by children all over the world who can use your help.
With each AIKids' UA, we include a link to the original adult version Urgent Action for your parents and teachers. If your parents or teachers would like to learn more about what they can do for protection of human rights, they can email our office for more information. In the AIKids' Letter Writing Guide, you will find information about how you can write letters to government officials using the AIKids’ Urgent Action. After all, kids can be human rights activists too!
