the justice without borders
project
"We're in the midst of what could really be called a revolution in the area of human rights and international justice... Already we have seen people come to justice who I'm sure never expected that they would ever be brought before a court of law, who thought that they could murder not just tens but hundreds of thousands of people and live to retire in some luxurious palace somewhere. We have shown that this can be stopped."
– Larry Cox, Executive Director, Amnesty International USA
Justice Without Borders
(35 minutes, 2007) is a documentary
film by Amnesty International USA
(AIUSA), produced by Skylight
Pictures. The film explores
the global movement seeking justice
and accountability for the most
grave human rights abuses.
Activists across the U.S. are organizing
Justice Without Borders screenings
to mobilize local action for international
justice and accountability. The
AIUSA Program for International
Justice and Accountability supports
these local efforts as part of our
work to build an active and vocal
constituency in the U.S. for international
justice.
Amnesty International believes
that by working together, we can
break down the walls of impunity
and build a world in which no one
– no matter their title or
position of power – evades
justice for the most grave human
rights crimes.
