A woman gang-raped by eight men who accused her of adultery is now at risk of being caned for this “offense” in Indonesia’s Aceh province.

Charges against Najlaa Mohammed Ali and Amin Senada were dropped on 2 December. The two activists had been at risk of imprisonment or flogging for ‘indecent behavior’.
