On September 21, 2011 Troy Anthony Davis was put to death by the State of Georgia.
On the eve of the second anniversary of Troy's execution, the Davis family, AI USA and others invite you to join the Davis family at St. Mary's in Harlem, where the community came together two years ago in the hope that Troy's life would be spared.
We will reflect on Troy Davis' legacy, remember Martina Davis-Correia, discuss the movement to abolish the death penalty, and launch the book "I Am Troy Davis", co-authored by Jen Marlowe and Troy's sister Martina Davis-Correia, with the participation of Troy himself.
