Every year, the human rights conference is jam packed with exciting events. From concerts to marches, lectures to workshops, you will have the opportunity to meet new people and get hands on experience tackling human rights issues. This year's Human Rights Conference will take place from April 4 - 6, 2014 at the JW Marriott Hotel located at 151 W Adams St, Chicago, IL 60603

Join the Priorities Subcommittee, the AIUSA Board of Directors, and human rights experts for a discussion of the proposed policy on decriminalization of sex work. Topics include the human rights of sex workers and emerging international human rights norms around sex work. As this is a human rights policy discussion, this meeting is internal (for Amnesty International members only).

Come network with others with similar backgrounds and experiences, share your ideas for building and sustaining the human rights movement in your area, and develop concrete strategies for addressing the challenges you face as an activist.
7.45pm - 8.45pm Board Candidates Forum
A unique opportunity to meet and greet the candidates running in this year's Board of Directors election. If you were an AIUSA member in 2013, don't forget to vote; the election period ends May 12, 2014.
Dinner will be provided.
9pm - 11.00pm Saturday Night Social
A chance to meet and interact with AIUSA members from all across the country

8.00am - 9.30am Amnesty International's Strategic Goals Consultation and ICM Debrief
Be part of the development of Amnesty International's global Strategic Goals for 2016-2019. Hear about the outcomes from Amnesty International's International Council Meeting (ICM) and learn about the ongoing consultation to develop global goals for Amnesty International's future work. Come join the discussion!
Breakfast will be provided.
