Busboys & Poets, Amnesty International, Code Pink, Peace Action, Iraq Veterans Against the War, Roots Action and Veterans for Peace are proud to present, "A Discussion with Jeremy Scahill." 

This weekend marks the opening of Jeremy Scahill's groundbreaking film "Dirty Wars," which will be playing across the nation at major theaters. Dirty Wars follows investigative reporter Jeremy Scahill, author of the international bestseller Blackwater, into the hidden world of America's covert wars, from Afghanistan to Yemen, Somalia, and beyond. Come listen to Jeremy Scahill speak about his work, along with other experts in the field.

Speakers include:
-Jeremy Scahill, author of Dirty Wars: The World Is a Battlefield and star of the film by the same name.
-Rooj Alwazir, Yemeni-American activist, co-founder of SupportYemen media collective.
-A former analyst with the U.S. Joint Special Operations Command (name to be revealed at the event)
