Israel/Occupied Palestinian Territories: Stop Harrassing Abdallah Abu Rahma (UA 320/14)
The Israeli military court rejected an appeal by Palestinian human rights defender Abdallah Abu Rahma against a four-month suspended sentence imposed on him for his peaceful participation in a demonstration. In ruling, the military judge said, “It is my opinion that the appellant's enthusiasm should be ‘cooled down’ in the coming years”.
