Good News! – Myanmar: Labor Activists Released (UA 211/15)


Union leaders and factory workers Myo Min Min and Naing Htay Lwin, and labour activists Naing Zaw Kyi Win and Thu Zaw Kyi Win were released from Insein prison in Yangon, Myanmar’s largest city, on 17 April.

Union leaders and factory workers Myo Min Min and Naing Htay Lwin, and labour activists Naing Zaw Kyi Win and Thu Zaw Kyi Win were released from Insein prison in Yangon, Myanmar’s largest city, on 17 April. They were released as part of a Presidential pardon which saw the release of 83 prisoners, including prisoners of conscience Amnesty International has campaigned for.
