Carolina holds a Bachelor of Politics, with a focus on international human rights law. She previously worked with the National Day Laborer Organization Network to support worker and undocumented people’s rights to fair wage and decriminalization. She also worked for the Women’s Fund of Western Massachusetts, where she focused on providing women the tools to become leaders in local politics. Over the past six years, she has worked and volunteered with a variety of NGO and grassroots organizations including the ACLU, Casa Latina, Illinois Coalition for Refugee and Immigrant Rights, Undocumented Immigrant Alliance and Strong Women Strong Girls FL. She joined AIUSA in 2016 as a Field Organizer.
