Grassroots Legislative Advocacy Assistant, Grassroots Leadership & Engagement Unit

Rachel Horowitz serves as the Grassroots Legislative Advocacy Assistant at AIUSA, where she supports the planning of opportunities for AIUSA activists to lobby for urgent human rights legislation. She previously worked as a researcher at Georgetown University investigating election management bodies and electoral law in Latin America. She holds a BA in Government and History from Georgetown University, where she advocated gun violence prevention through her leadership of the March For Our Lives Georgetown chapter. She has also interned in the Office of Senator Michael Bennet and with the “I Have A Dream” Foundation in Colorado. In her free time, Rachel enjoys elaborate board games and hiking.
