Batul is a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) professional and researcher with over eight years of experience working on multi-million-dollar projects focused on social and economic development. She has collaborated with organizations such as USAID, the World Bank, GIZ, and multiple UN agencies, primarily across the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. Her expertise spans social and behavioral change, humanitarian assistance, education, governance, human rights, and more.

Born and raised in Italy, she has also lived in Jordan, Belgium, the UK, Tunisia, and now Hawaii, where she resides with her family. She is fluent in English, Italian, and Arabic, with intermediate proficiency in Spanish.

She is nearing the completion of her PhD in Management at the University of Bristol, UK. She also holds a Master’s in Management from the University of Hasselt, Belgium, and a Bachelor’s in Business from the Open University, UK.
