From April 3 – April 11, 2021, AIUSA student groups will focus on ending gun violence impacting Black and brown communities by lobbying Congress to pass the Break the Cycle of Violence Act. This important bill would fund local gun violence prevention groups that have been proven to help save lives.
As a secondary action, student groups can also write letters to President Biden urging him to free people from ICE detention, including all families, as part of AIUSA’s 100 day’s campaign.
