July 2016 (Anti-Gun Violence Campaign)

In July, the Monthly Membership call highlighted AIUSA’s upcoming Anti-Gun Violence campaign, providing background to Amnesty’s history of work against gun violence.

It provided suggestions for groups and members for working locally with community partners to seek solutions to this growing crisis. Reports were made on AIUSA’s organizing work in recently affected areas, and also provided insights on changing the framework of conversation on gun violence.
