Web Feeds are commonly used on blogs, news sites and other web pages where content is added frequently. Some people use news aggregators to see new content from their favorite sites, while others are increasingly reading Web feeds through their Web browsers. Web Feeds are often indicated by links that say "RSS," "Syndicate this site" or a square orange button ![]()
How Do I Use a Web Feed?
In order to subscribe to an Amnesty USA feed, first you must sign up for or download a Web aggregator or have a Web browser on your computer that reads Web feeds (Safari, Firefox and Internet Explorer 7 all include features that allow you to read Web feeds). Your aggregator can be either desktop or web-based. Some examples of popular aggregators include Newz Crawler, Bloglines, Feedreader, NetNewsWire (for Mac) and Newsgator, among many others.
Once you have set-up your Web feed aggregator, you are now ready to add an Amnesty International USA feed to your list of Web feeds. We've set up our feeds so that your browser or aggregator will automatically detect that our site offer feeds when you visit our pages, which we hope makes it easier for you to find and download our Web feeds.
