Moses Akatugba was imprisoned at 16 years old, tortured, and sentenced to death. Ten years and over 800,000 actions later, he walked out of prison on June 2, 2015.

The planned forced eviction of thousands of residents from the Deep Sea informal settlement in Nairobi has been halted temporarily. The European Union (EU) has agreed to dialogue with Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) to ensure that the eviction of the residents, to allow for the construction of a road project, is done in compliance with international human rights standards.

The demolition of the homes of 53 Roma families living in the Grmeč informal settlement in Zemun municipality has been suspended on the order of the Serbian government. All families living in the settlement have been promised alternative accommodation before any eviction should take place.

Four Rohingya leaders in Myanmar have been released under a presidential amnesty. They had been imprisoned in connection with community protests in 2013.
