Pakistan: Accept Mercy Petition of Khizar Hayat (UA 164/15)
Khizar Hayat’s execution warrant was suspended on 25 July but he remains at imminent risk of execution. He was diagnosed with a mental disability in 2008 and has been on medication since then. International law clearly states that the death penalty should not be used against those with mental and intellectual disabilities.
