Last year, activists like you sent Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan 500,000 messages urging him to commute the death sentence of Moses Akatugba, who was 16 when he was arrested, tortured and sentenced to death for a crime he says he didn’t commit. Given his age at the time of the alleged crime, under international law, he should not have been sentenced to death. Governor Uduaghan promised to look into the case. Now, Uduaghan is set to leave office at the end of May — but Moses remains on death row. Let's push the Governor to keep his promise.
