Fereshteh Halimi, the wife of human rights lawyer Mohammad Mostafaei, was released on August 7th. Her brother and father, both of whom had been arrested, had been released by August 3rd. They were arrested to pressure Mohammad Mostafaei to turn himself in; he has now left Iran for Norway.

Russian Federation: 'Gay Propaganda' Case Sent Back for Retrial (UA 25/15)
On 25 March a Russian district court returned back for further consideration a lower court’s decision that had found Elena Klimova guilty of “propaganda of non-traditional sexual relations among minors”. In a separate proceeding due on 6 April another court in St Petersburg is to decide whether her group Children 404 is to be closed down.
