Lado Sikaka, a leader of the Dongria Kondh Indigenous communities in India, was released August 12th, two days after being abducted. Sana Sikaka, another leader who was abducted at the same time, was released on August 11th.

Prominent Saudi Arabian writer Dr Zuhair Kutbi has been detained without charge since 15 July. He was beaten during arrest and is at risk of torture and other ill-treatment. He is in need of medical attention. He is a prisoner of conscience.
