Senate passed Resolution 660 by unanimous consent; the resolution calls
on the UN Security Council to stop the flow of weapons into Darfur
by expanding the current UN arms embargo to all of Sudan. Our activists sent
more than 13,000 actions to Congressional members urging passage of this resolution.

NEWSPAPER EDITOR ABDUCTED IN EAST UKRAINE (UA 215/14)
Sergei Dolgov, editor of a Ukrainian newspaper, was abducted by armed men in June. Media reports suggest that he was killed but eyewitnesses and relatives believe he is alive and in detention.
