on the UN Security Council to stop the flow of weapons into Darfur
by expanding the current UN arms embargo to all of Sudan. Our activists sent

Good News! - Ukraine: Ivan Bezyazykov Released From Detention (UA 231/15)
Ukrainian officer Ivan Bezyazykov was released from detention by the pro-Russian separatists in eastern Ukraine on 5 July after spending more than 22 months in captivity and being subjected to torture and other ill-treatment. He has reunited with his wife and children in Zhytomyr, Ukraine.
Amnesty International is concerned about the fairness of proceedings leading to the trial and conviction of Leonard Peltier, an Ashinabe-Lakota Native American who was convicted of murdering two FBI agents.
