The Universal Declaration of Human Rights guarantees not only civil and political rights like freedom of expression and the right to a fair trial, but also economic, social and cultural rights like access to health care, adequate housing, and a healthy environment. Recognizing the interdependence of all human rights, the Demand Dignity Campaign works to advance ESCR, especially for people living in poverty.
