We need your help. The U.S. Congress is making decisions now that will determine whether:

to close the Guantanamo detention center on schedule,
to reform a U.S. immigration detention that costs millions of dollars, is ineffective, and denies human rights, and
to give full U.S. support in protecting the dignity and fundamental human rights of women

We need you to ensure that human rights is a deciding factor in each of these issues. Now is a critical time for your elected officials to hear your voice!

Your Representative and your Senators are likely to be in your district office this November 11. Apply to lead a delegation to your elected officials. Or, join a delegation near you.

Leading a delegation is easy, it will take about 15 hours of time, and Amnesty International will give you ideas, training and tips to be most effective.
