An Egyptian court has sentenced 528 people to death, most in their absence, following a grossly unfair trial. It is one of the largest number of death sentences handed down in one case.
Five supporters of ousted president Mohamed Morsi were arrested on 25 February. They are now being tried by a military court and have been tortured and ill-treated in custody.
Trade union leader, Kim Jungwoo, is at risk of receiving a further prison sentence at an appeal hearing on 4 April.
